I've translated my service book/schedule from Portuguese to English.
The manual was taken from a water cooled Brazilian but I'm pretty sure its the same one supplied with the air cooled Brazilian bays, as it states changing the oil every 6000Km etc..which I've been told is not necessary with the water cooled engine.
The file can be printed out on A4 paper and folded in half to make your own service book.

That's briliant mate. I've downloaded it. I can't put it on the server (as far as I know) as I don't own the hosting. However I'm happy to forward a copy to registered users from my home pc if folk require it.

Just to prevent confusion - the above download is documentation to do with servicing the T2. It is not the Instruction Manual. If anyone has an English version of that and is prepared to scan it that would be terrific.

Hi TimV, what an excellent site! I am still finding my way around the site and wish i had more time to write some comments, I will participate more, promise. Are you able to send me the file of the service manual which someone has kindly translated to English. I'll get some pictures on the gallery of Iona, our family 2008 watercooled Rio.
I visited Ian a VWKampers in March and was very impressed by the service and dedication to all things Brazilian, he has a great team of guys, so friendly and have all the knowledge.They serviced and MOTed my van and also gave me some advice about monthly checks and general mantainence. I too highly recommend them. I will write some words of priase on the sites Service/Garage comments page.

The manual in portuguese is one thing I find irritating. It is not a huge document and a T2 is not a cheap vehicle. A manual in English seems a reasonable expectation, surely Dandury could easily print their own.

Our scooby did a fanastic job in france for the summer, everyone waving at us through the country side of Brittany. Thanks Tim. I was also looking for a list of oils and lubricants to be used on Watercooled Kombi 2008. I had these in a wallet in the van but they have disappeared. Thank you in anticipation Tony

Finally was able to get the Bay that I've always wanted from Brazil. But my Portuguese is less than meh and I'm looking for English versions of the manuals.
