PostSubject: Bison Steaks   Bison Steaks EmptySat Feb 25, 2012 8:46 pm

Read an article today in the Camping & Caravaning mag - March Issue
Included a recipe for gremolata sauce to serve with Bison Steaks
Yes Bison Steaks Shocked
Anyone tried a Bison Steak?
Interesting . . . food for thought . . . may need to try it this summer?
See below for the farm that can supply this meat - you can even camp there too!

A farm near us in Dorset was rearing them - so took a walk out to take a look - they are scary buggers! - Bloomin' enormous!
Definitely Desperate Dan type steaks!
Hey Split Sombrero/Lil - where are you in Zummezet - we are about 10 mins south of Sherborne - or Sherbun if you are posh!

When I went to Kenya I tried Zebra, Giraffe, Buffalo, Osrtich and Crocodile. Out of them all I would say Giraffe was the best.
