Got a farm down ere near Yeovil, meats a bit stronger in flavour than beef but very nice all the same

A farm near us in Dorset was rearing them - so took a walk out to take a look - they are scary buggers! - Bloomin' enormous!

Hey Batman, I'm up near Bridgwater me old china, I know Sherbourne quite well had a few rambles when I was based at Yeovilton. Were coming your way (ish) on Saturday, off to Dorchester to drop off the Brig at VWBUSBITS dockyard for a mini re-fit. Keep em peeled

Brigs a small sailing vessel (humour me ) due down about 10:30-11:00 depending on 5 yr old getting ready

I see on the bisonfarm website, you can try a bison burger in their cafe. They also had 'snake and pygmy pie with chimps and mushy bees'

Wonder where they get their pygmies?

We elk last year at a wedding in Finland, it was delicious.

Many many years ago whilst in the RAF we were given 'whale blubber' stew in Norway, uuuuurrrggghhhh!

On various holidays in the past we have eaten the following:

Deer, Elk, Ostrich, Crocodile, Zebra, Kangaroo, Snails, Frogs, Bean Curd, Haggis & Chips

We will let you figure out where we might have been

Some was good - some not so good

How many of them tasted like chicken?!

Only a couple really
Would say the ostrich had a good taste
You can get it in the UK - large drum sticks though if you get the whole thing

When I went to Kenya I tried Zebra, Giraffe, Buffalo, Osrtich and Crocodile. Out of them all I would say Giraffe was the best.

Forgot the Girafffe - thanks for the reminder Kiteman - we too had it on Safari in Kenya
It was good but do not order the "neck" when on a table for two

At the soth west shows for the past two years there has been a stall selling ostrich, croc rolls etc I thought the bread ruined the taste
