| As a newbie about to acquire his first campervan what are your top 3 tips or tricks of the trade ? They could come under the category of buying your first vehicle, must have options, preparing for that first trip away, maintenance - or any other topic you can think of.
I was prompted to post this having read a thread about preserving the charge in leisure batteries and fridges - something I wouldn't have thought about. HELP! | |

| Pack toilet paper, water, teabags and chocolate digestives. Everything else will come naturally. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Plan somewhere to stash your watch, wallet, phone, loose change etc. as you bed down for the night - perhaps a hanging or magnetic pocket. osg | |

| Head torches rock, but only if you keep your head still, otherwise they wobble... ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| Agree Tallulah - a level van = good nights sleep. Get one of those tiny two way spirit levels and fix next to the driver's seat. Really useful and wheel chocks. warning triangle - or is that tempting fate !! Flip flops for late night trips to toilet. And a million other things that will only become apparent when you start using it. Things specific to us include Radio Flier !!, potty ! and chocolate cereals of any description !! Come to the Sleepover and we can all compare notes | |

Perhaps someone could start a new topic here - What every van must carry.
