| yes that is in the near from bad honnef. i think 20-30km. cool you know the area from here. totday i was in the near from "Nürburgring". i driving around the "Eifel" . Great lokation for photos and drink a cup of coffee. my little suns are always by me and always want to drive with me. in bad honnef i wanted for 10 jears to build a house. but in that area is it much expensiver as in bonn. The reason for that is the name :" Bad" ...... but bad honnef is a very pretty wollage/city. the photos that today i makes it was in my area. i think 10km from my house away. here are build the wine: Federweißer, its a great withe wine [img] [/img] [img] [/img][img] [/img]

| Me and my mates flew over to Prague and rented a car and drove to Nuremburg to watch the world cup in 2006. Was a great drive and had a terrific time. We stayed the night in a friendly local gentlemans house. I don't think I would have been so welcoming to 5 football supporters from another country. | |

| the Nürburgring is one of the most interesting areas in Eifel. I am often in summer there. i drove with my motorbike there and watch to the "ring". There are many races. but the old "Ring"(you saw it for the oldest races in the 70Jears) is free for visitors. you can drive on it one round about 20euro. it is 23km long and called Nordschleife. you can take erverywhat you want to drive, for example: car, motorbike, bus and so on. it ervery day open. ones i saw bikecycles on it and ons there are walker. creazy people. :-) but the best of all os when there is a race whitch you said. i love that. the load voises from the racecars . the noisy from the gas. the people and all there. have you a racestreet(dont know the word) too? in your area neary'?

| Am I correct in thinking that "Bad" means spa? My father was in a P.O.W camp in Bad Sulsa in WW2. One day I'm going to drive over to have a look. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

| I've always fancied going to the Nordschleife for a quick drive around in my Evo. A few of my friends go every year. The only things that put me off are the complications with insurance, and the fact that you all drive on the wrong side of the road ________________________________________________________________________________ | |

| I really enjoy your posts Michel and I have found that I read them with a German accent. I apologise if this causes offence. I would love to put a face to posts. Hope to meet up one day if you are over in England.
Instead of 'false' you could use the word 'wrong' in your post

| 'Out of the mouths of babes'. I was driving along the Fosse Way with my six year old (at the time) daughter and tried to give her a history lesson. I said "why do you think the Romans built straight roads?" Her reply "Because steering wheels hadn't been invented". | |

| Michel - no worries - you are not the only foreigner here We're Polish although living in UK so we got used to driving on the "wrong" side of the road As a matter of fact I don't really know any more how to drive on the right side...although my husband doesn't mind and feels confident on both. Britons are very polite on the roads and it is very safe to drive here so fear no more - come and visit! I like yours posts very much! PS. You have a lovely van - beautiful, sunny colour! | |

Can just about see you - i like how your T Shirt matches the van.
You could say 'your collar matches your cuffs'. I'll explain that saying when we meet!

(whats the diffrent between UK and GB? sorry i realy dont know that) i think to my head self: i dont think that here is any not beautifully car. all these vans are personality vans from the oners. that is the reason for the thinking of it is beautiful. oh men. heavy language :-) to tell that to you what i mean know :-)) @marcus: show a picture too please :-)
for 10 minutes on my work: i work in a power plant that ervery day talks to europa. often we talk to people they only can speak in englisch. our factory-language is englisch by telephone. for the past i ever lets a kolleg to the phone because i have angry to that. but not today- the man on the other side from the phone understand me correctly !!! | UK = United Kingdom is a general name for the country consisting of Great Britain (the bigger island) and Northern Ireland ( part of island of Ireland). I guess we use both names equally when we say where we live - and more precisely - we live in England (and even more precisely in Yorkshire - which is almost a country itself ) I hope I got that right - I'm just a foreigner after all

Hey Michel, We actually have 2 I use this one for my every day car: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII And this is for weekend fun (along with the camper): Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI TME They are great cars, really quick and exactly the opposite of the bay (other than they both love to get through fuel ) If you're even in the North West of England you're welcome for a trip out

| THX, i will do that, that are very very nice fantastics cars. i love them. cool to drive with it i think, isnt it? could you please make a foto from the insite of it please? great car realy !!!
for fast driving i have a motorbike. but in the past i drove not so much because i always drove allone. thats not fun. the reason is my shift work. when i have time to drive, all my friends must work and the other way that. my wife is always driving with me on the bike, but since the children she dont drive with me. that was the reason for buy a family car T2 to drive with all together :-) but it for me to slow. my best friend is a motor mechnikel with a garage. he works for porsche, vw, audi sports cars. when i have the money compltett i will make a other engine in the t2. but that is for the future in the next years.
i see, your cars are all cool :-)

| Sorry for the slow reply, I've been away over the weekend and only just back online now. Here are some interior shots for you: VIII TME (for some reason the dash looks two different colours, I think this is down to the camera flash. You certainly can't tell just looking at it). I would never fancy a motorbike, I think the roads are scary enough when I'm in the car. I bet you get a great rush of speed on two wheels though. What's the fastest you've got to on the autobahn? I'd certainly like you see your van with a big engine in it. I'll look forward to when you've saved up for it | |

But that was 10 years ago. know i drive maximum 160km/h because the street is too full of other cars and i am "older" looool
