Thanks guys it took me the last 3 years to get it to the standard it was feel really sick love all my vans !!!

I suggest you contact all the parts suppliers too and give them your details if the 'new owner' trys to get bits.... Danbury will keep an eye out too for you. Maybe fit a tracker to the next one as these people often come back again at some point hoping that youve replaced it with another... Good luck!

Jason makes a valid point, got to say though that given the condition of your bus, could well have been stolen to order and may well be in a container ready to be shipped off somewhere already. Sorry to be so negative, ex copper, always think the worst.................

Yes thats what we were thinking we have just ordered trackers for our other 3 vans will fit them as soon as they arrive. A call came through today from a possible sighting down the M5 I think the unusal colour will stand out as I have never seen one in pearl mustard ever.

Have you 'circulated' it on all the other VW forums?

No not yet put it on ebay and also our wesite spoken to local police tonight they think its an organised syndicate stealing vehicles and more than likely be taken to Ireland

Not that many about in Ireland to be honest with you and would stick out like a sore thumb. Have to be transported under cover as every vehicle going out of Uk port passes an ANPR, which reads the number plate and cross checks with the PNC (Police Computer records). It's such a good looking bus I reckon it will draw attention from someone!
I've a cousin in the Garda, just outside Dublin, I've e-mailed him to put the word about......................

We noticed you mentioned you thought it might end up in Ireland, so we contacted Louisa @BarryDesignWeb who is part of the VW Eireball Run. Wanted to offer my sympathies - I had my own vw camper stolen 4 months ago and I'm still utterly heartbroken.
