Hi everyone,

Just wanted to send out a thank you to Neil from litesteer for getting my tacho going on Saturday. Lovely workshop and lovely guys. Was great to put a face to the name. Smile

Looks sweet, which reminds me I fitted my tacho just need to connect it up now.

When I get mine working it might be interesting to compare revs of the aircooled and watercooled at certain speeds, just for a comparison not for any other reason Laughing

Think there might be a difference between 2k revs on an air cooled and 2k revs on a liquid cooled? Razz

Dont see why not! we have done rack and pinion kits ourselves using the T25 relay box that Red9 uses all we need to do is assertain the length of the inner shaft, we would need the van for a couple of days though.
We can fit the red9 at the same time if you wish.

Just viewed your location! if you can get the overall length of the column shaft and its height relative to the floor we should be able to build and send it to you! alternativly can you send the red9 column to me so i can jig it? and return it with the litesteer kit.

The red9 kit is fitted to Kevs Kombi, I am thinking about the same for mine I just wanted to know it was possible before I made my decision. I'm pleased you could modify the column and fit your kit so I could fit it myself.

Good to know thanks for the quick response.

Thanks guys and thanks again Neil. I have always had a tacho when driving manuals. Should help on those long trips over the summer! Wink
