Max is having a weekend off at the mo as my son is at Cub Camp and I'm doing a spot of radio work. Anyone been doing stuff in their Bay?

We hit dorset for the weekend, managed to get in to a campsite in east fleet after finding everywhere was fully booked up, we were going to swanage area initally. Usual bank holiday trafic going down there, took us twice as long as normal, and usuall bank holiday weather on saturday, but sunday spent at chapmans pool made it worth it. Not 1 brazilian seen, but plenty of bays and splits to wave to.

Hi Matt,
We hit Dorset also, stayed at Lulworth Cove cost a bit but worthwhile with great clifftop views of the Jurassic coastline, didnt see much traffic as we came down as we set off early, did all the sites and had a great night in Weymouth Harbour Saturday night , we did manage to see 3 Brazilians around Corfe castle and yes plenty of bays.

Hi olive, what a shame we didnt spot you, we passed lulworth on the way to chapmans pool and had the obligitory icecream stop in corfe on the sunday before getting the ferry across to sandbanks. Lulworth cove is a lovely place if you can get it without the rest of us tourists, we usually opt for the 30 minute hike over the hill to the left of lulworth and go to mupes bay, you'll find all of 20 people there on a bad day and chrystal clear water for swimming. Well worth the hike. 'cost a bit' is an understatement, whats with the price of campsites this year, alot are getting on for £40-£50 a night if there is more than 2 of you, its riddiculous. Roll on camping becoming uncool again. Matt.

We spent the weekend at Pevensey Bay, saw a couple of bays and a beautiful split screen. Tried talking to the 'owner', but he was not a pleasant chap and turned out it was on hire.

Hi Matt,
What a small world, we stopped at Corfe and had a cream tea in the NT tearoom, that was about 4.30, before that we stopped at Tyneham Village and had a good walk around and had a picnic lunch, we found that area very peacefull and it only cost a £3 donation to the village. I will next time try out mupes bay.

Spent the weekend adding to my growing collection of stock photo angles one really has to shoot one's bus from. This week, it is the 'parked up in wild country' series.
There are those who would say that plonking a parked vehicle in the foreground is a very good way to ruin a landscape shot. Fortunately, my landscape shots don't take much ruining anyway.

Fitted by Danbury as part of the original conversion, so can't remember what they charged two years back but the website price now is £349. The job included an internal wardrobe fitted where the spare sat previously, and colour matching the cover with lower paintwork.

yes as i like the look of the exposed front. however there is a cost of work needed to the front i assume where the bracket is ;loss of bike rack space to the front and cost of purchase/fitting etc. im keeping an open mind for now so when we all get together one day ill have a look in the flesh aswell!

Thats why we chose not to have the spare on the back of ours, means we dont have the wardrobe inside as that is where the spare lives, but we couldnt do with out the bike rack.

You'll need a front respray to do that as the spare wheel mount has 4 bolt holes
Why not go for a painted/stainless steel banded cover instead?
