RHD, low mileage with some nice bits and bobs!
Only trouble is it is metallic red Wink

Yep this has been discussed on the brazilianvwbay Facebook page. It is nice but overpriced by £10k. There are later BraziBays for sale that are equally equipped for significantly less elsewhere...

We're not saying they would drop the 10k off the asking price, but if they want to sell it, then we're suggesting that is what they would need to do. At the moment it's in the region of a new Kombi's price. It also suggests they haven't looked at the market before choosing their asking price.

As evidenced by this one - 2010 Diamond £28k - 2 years younger and £10k cheaper.

Also we were looking to sell ours last year. 1 year old, 2,500 miles on the clock, (in my opinion) a very lovely interior.......£34k reduced to £32k. Plus awning.

Only downside was the wheels and LHD, but all fixable if you've £3k to spare.

Tbh KC I don't think the wheels have any bearing on it. LHD yes, but also very much state of the market. Anything over £30k and people start looking at new.

Fair point Tim.

Although being on the South coast, i'm hoping the LHD is a selling-point for those little jaunts to Europe Very Happy

Especially as we're hoping to start renting her out soon - website is under consrtuction as we speak.

Hi KC , do think there's a market for you if you're on the South Coast with not only people wanting to tour Europe but also tourists coming across the water and wanting to tour the UK as well.

We're based near Dover and have toyed with this business venture myself , capital being the main sticking point...

Good luck though...

Hi Beakyboy - it's a good point. I'd need to check with the insurance company though to make sure this wasn't an issue, although as driving licences within the EU are fairly standard these days, i hope it wouldn't be an issue.

We decided to rent it out just be a side-line for us for now to help contribute to the cost of the van, so we can afford to keep it and use it too!
We've set up a website (almost) which was easier than i thought, spoken to insurance companies, spoken to our local 'freebie' magazine, the school newsletter etc. for advertising. We're offering a free weekend in the van as part of the school summer fete prizedraw, so we'll have a pitch there all day with flyers etc to get people interested... Where we live is very family-based (4 schools in walking distance) so we're hoping this will be our core market and we'll get lots of word-of-mouth.
We'll see - it's all very exciting really!

It does look good Ian and can understand the owner not wanting to take too much of a hit on his original purchase price as am assuming it was £40k plus when new... However we all have to accept the second hand market is what it is and i'd suggest you contact the seller and make him an offer , at the end of the day you've got to be in it to win it... Yes the buyer would like in excess of £35k but is he realistically going to achieve this , probably not !!! Depends i suppose how much he needs the money and how quickly... Personally as mines now a year old I'd like to see them depreciate a little slower!!! Very Happy

It ticks all your boxes doesn't it? Make them an offer. They can always say no.
