how to purchase secondhand kombi from brazil.

hi, new to the site, anybody know how to purchase a secondhand kombi from brazil, would prefer private sale not dealers, any info to point me in the right direction would be appreciated , thanks, mike

This subject has come up on a number of occasions and I think the consensus of opinion was that it is too difficult, fraught with pitfalls and potentially very expensive.
If you use the forum search facility, and try purchasing from Brazil, you will find a number of topics on the subject. Personally your better off either buying new or previously owned in the UK, be cheaper in the long run, at least you will see what your buying.

The major stopping point is that you need to have a registered address in Brazil before you can buy a vehicle over there.

Mike01 if you find a way of exporting it out of Brazil and need it importing it into UK let me know as I run import export business... uk duty is 10 percent of cost price plus shipping cost plus standard vat of 20 percent , please accept that duty and shipping costs are also subject to vat...
