Did anyone book to stay over on Sunday night as well??
I have found a place in Stafford to stay over on my way back down South if everyone else is departing on the Sunday morning..

I need to get back so will be leaving sometime Sunday - not too early though

Sadly we are pulling out of this one at the last minute
Do have a great time - and hope the weather holds up to the sunny spells promised!

What a shame docmark - hope we catch up some time later in the year.

Arrived at about 2:30, Skooby already here. Lovely site. Eaten first batch of Cumberland sausage and off to check out the pub. Well someone has to, eh? See you tomorrow - don't forget your wellies!

There are a couple of late cancellations if anyone fancies a late get away to a slightly soggy Lake District. Apparently some of the older vans have failed to come out of their winter hibernation.

I'll be there late Friday. Leaving about 4.30 and have to go via Manchester centre to drop wife off

We'll be there about lunchtime. Is it really muddy? Do I really need Wellies?

We're leaving at 8am but can't see us there much before 4pm... Wet weather report would be great... It's lovely down here in the south!

It's like Vladivostock up here. I'm sure we'll see some rain over the next two days but don't worry it'll be dry in the Woolpack. Well, maybe not entirely dry!   

Who cares what the weather brings , a wet weekend in the Woolpack with good friends sounds good to me.. Tomorrow looks dry so hopefully can get base camp set up before the rains comes... See you soon.

We can't set off until Mrs B finishes some more Pom-poms. She's hard at it right now.

Can Mrs B run me up a quick wooly jumper too?  Got to pack up bright and early , shelved the plan to bring the bike , bringing beer pong instead   

You'll have to catch your own Herdwick for a jumper I'm afraid, Steve.

Van packed ,cake baked ready to go should be there for late am.

Thanks for a great weekend. Hope the convoy to the castle went well. I'm back home now. Be careful on the m6 as it's quite windy. See you all soon. Off to buy some waders or wetsuit for the next northern meet

The weather was a bit moist wasn't it Marcus - but the sun is coming out now we're back home.













The pub ran a shuttle bus (Army truck!) back to the campsite

Great weekend , weather was a bit damp , need a new awning and probably a windscreen but had a lovely couple of nights with great friends, have tomorrow off , and lovely job of removing the road kill from the roof rack...Pics to follow!!!
