| Having entered a few sightings on the Kombi Spotting section, it occurred to me there must be a lot of Kombi's out there who aren't on the forum, out of three pages of sightings I think that the amount of 'hits' could probably be counted on one hand. Just a couple of questions, does anyone know a ball park figure of how many are registered in the UK. And how did members find out about the forum, eg. from VW meets, recommendation of other members, Brazibay cards left on vehicles, from dealers etc etc. In my case it was by accident whilst searching the web and typing Brazil and VW in the same search box. Just thought it might be interesting. | |

| I stumbled across it doing an online search for VW Bays, when thinking about buying one. Wasn't sure whether to buy new or old at the time, so lurked for a while. | |

That was from us We found the forum through google, admittedly after we had bought the bus! I think it's full of handy information for anyone considering a purchase.

| I also found it when googling. Wish I'd found it before I'd bought. No regrets but I'd have known which extras to get from the outset.
However we all found it, I'd bet we're all very grateful to Tim for starting it. I know I am. The advice alone is great, but for me it's the people I've met and the friends I've made, that are the best bits. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

| Found the Forum during an on-line search for more 'information' on the Brazilian Bay that we had bought.
One technical definition I saw for 'information' = 'Any difference that makes a difference'
Pleased to see the different ways in which people benefit here osg

| Got here from google I think, can't exactly remember, wasn't long after buying 'Mish' from new. So glad I did tho', great bunch of people and amazing amount of info, which at times can really put your mind at rest. So well done Tim for getting this forum going, creating new friendships, and making us a force to be reckoned with! | |

| Found it on Google. Hoped to find a good forum having bought the VW in relative ignorance. After dallying with a few fairly miserable sites, found this and problem over. It is a top forum; very grateful to Tim for all he does keeping it going. So appreciative of the positive attitude most people have most of the time on the forum, it does add to the pleasures of ownership. | |
