My dad used to have an Audi that was Indigo Blue, which was so dark it looked black - but as soon as the sun shone, it was definitely blue.

Yes that's exactly what happens with this colour - Its a range rover Buckingham blue with slight mica metallic in direct sun it's blue but on dull days it looks black .... that said in the uk it always looks black
Tina my other half chased a male driver across a car park in Bedford to ask him what colour his RR was - she was taking a photo of the car during which time his wife returned and was quickly asked to explain why she was taking a photo of the car with her husband in it !
was quite a hoot at the time.

The real funny thing, however, was collecting our brand new white Brazi from Danbury and returning month later for the first inspection visit with a blue/black under white 2 tone with only the "to and from" mileage on the clock from Yate to Luton and back. Caused a double take from the sales staff.
