The Brazilian bay set up is more like t25 and not like the set up most do now with rad under floor

Hi and welcome popout, no diagrams as far as I'm aware, but under 'Kombi in Depth', 'underneath an Aquabay' there are some photos showing how the piping is routed from back to front.

As far as I'm aware, just the one in the engine compartment. Also note there have been issues with bleeding the system due to the length of the pipes, and the heater (if fitted) pipes which also run the length of the vehicle.

Where are you based popout? Maybe you could arrange to come and have a nose in the engine bay of a local aqua bay.

Hi pop out, yep top of the rad is higher than the expansion tank, most of our problems with air in the system stem from the heater that's added when converted over here, there are extra connections made up front to plumb the heater in, but still only one water pump down the back end to pump all the water round.

Yes there's a bleed valve on the rad, and I think from memory the suggestion was to slightly raise the front end on ramps when bleeding.

It's best to raise the rear of the bus to get the expansion tank above the rad, that way you can fill from the tank and bleed from the rad.
The pdf looks similar to ours, rad up front, expansion tank in engine bay and hoses running front to back.
The problem with ours is the heater Danbury fit. They run another pair of hoses running front to back with a seperate pump for the heater. This has no where to bleed as far as I can see so you get air trapped in the heater system that will eventually find its way to the rad, where you can then bleed it. Again ensuring the expansion tank is higher, that way the water will be forced into the rad to push the air out.
