BraziBay Beach Day - July 2014

Hi Guys
Thought it was easier to start a separate thread for this potential day out by the seaside   
So, to clarify what we are looking at here is the proposal:
We make an early start and get to park right next to the beach somewhere between Boscome Pier and Bournemouth Pier.
We park together, all day, for lots of fun in the sun.   
With regard to dates it is always difficult to try and please everyone and not clash with other events.
However, we have done our best and propose either Saturday 12th or 19th July 2014.
So, please can you indicate your interest and/or preference using the poll?
Doo give it some thought - it'll be FAB

Busy, busy, sorry  

We're busy on the 12th and Tallulah is attending Latitude on the 19th, but we'll keep tabs on what's going on in case anything changes.

Both OK for us. I expect it'll be difficult to bring the dog as he'll not be allowed on the beach but I'm sure we can work around it.

Scooby can make both days so we hope this 'day out' will happen   
Sorry you are busy Tallulah on 12th, but if we end up going on the 19th perhaps you could come down in the car?
We would make you a cuppa

Good plan Scooby, I often forget we have a car too!!!

Shhhh - don't tell Ronnie the Renault that we forget about him, he already had an issue with Tallulah taking priority on the drive!!!

Might be able to make the 12th. Will have the same problem with the dogs though

At this early stage it looks like the 'day out' will happen as there seems to be enough interest.  
No rush to close the poll yet though, will leave it a few weeks
The more the merrier

Oh - have things pencilled in for both those dates - but once one is picked will try to juggle the diary - don't want to miss out on trip to the seaside

Sounds like fun. Haven't got my work shifts for July yet (ah the joys of the NHS!!). If we are able to join you we will also have to bring the dog, know they're not allowed on the beach at that time, so will have to wander off for a walk for a while.

Any known campsites local, might think about staying somewhere the Friday and/or Saturday night?

We know the campsite below is not too far away - think it's about 20 miles from Bournemouth?
Understand Tallulah has stayed there before?

The Inside Park

Yes indeed, great site with good facilities and a sizeable kiddies play park. Walks and cycle rides through the surrounding woodland and even a 'games room' for those shocking weather situations.

Ah yes, thanks, it was considered before by Tallulah for our first camp out, but we opted for a bit more local.
Might give it some concideration, make a bit more of a weekend of it and give us a bit more experience before the France trip!

Scooby was asked four or five times at the Sleepover about a date for this event
