2nd vehicle Insurance NCD

Hi,

We recently insured Minty with Comfort (great deal) but need to insure an additional car for day to day use. Does anyone have any experience of insuring two cars for one person and the best way to utilise their no claims discount?

It seems Minty will only be used during the warmer months so I'm not sure what to do.

Depends on you insurance company, sometimes they will match your no claims from one policy, I currently have 5 cars insured with Full NCD but it does depend on the company

it may be worth looking for a specialist to cover your camper on limited mileage and putting the NCD on your daily car, be careful of the multicar deals, I was with admiral and their multicar was more expensive than the two cars insured separately with them!!
