With a heavy heart I'm afraid I must tell you that we have lost a superb member of this community.  



Tragically Graeme 'Spike' Lee passed away suddenly on Thursday.  He was just 52.  Those of you who have met Spike will know he was absolutely full of life, really joined in with our bunch and had a real passion for big toys and gadgets.  Those of us that attended Camperjam last year will remember Spike dancing with us in the event shelter into the small hours.  He was the proud owner of 'Iona' a metallic 'Nissan Rose' coloured AquaBay, that Spike was decking out with lots of wizardry bits.  Here's Iona parked next to Lynn and Steve at last year's Sleepover.



This is such a sad loss.  Spike worked in TV on Outside Broadcasts from all over the world and clearly knew his craft inside out as well as having a lot of friends within the industry.  On behalf of all of us here I've sent our condolences to his wife Nicola and two daughters Sophie and Evangeline.  We'll never forget Spike, he was a fun member of our gang.  We'll raise a toast to him when we're all together at The Sleepover in 3 weeks.  For now though, I bet he's happily tinkering on a Kombi in another world.

He will be sadly missed.

I didn't know him either, but very sad to leave at such a young age. Condolences to his family.

Alison and I had a long chat with Spike at Camperjam last year - he seemed like a great guy. Our sympathies go out to his family.

Rather puts things into perspective when something like this happens.

That's a lovely photo. Such sad news and my heart goes out to all the family. We live nearby and had messaged each other to try to arrange family and Kombi meet up. RIP Spike.
