Anyone coming down to 'breeze' this weekend who doesn't want to pay huge amounts to park can park for free at Brighton marina ( 4 hours) and either walk down to the show, about 15 minutes along the beach walk, or catch a bus. There is an open air car park in front of the Asda or a multi story.

I had a top meal this week at a great pub just up from the sea front.  The Lion and Lobster is full of character and split over a number of levels.  They've got the traditional pub bit downstairs, a restaurant on the middle floor and terraces up above.  The food was terrific and keenly priced.

So I've booked us a room on the middle floor that can take up to 22 people.  Should we want to eat on the terrace we can relocate to there if a) there's the room and b) the weather is decent, which judging by recent temps it should be.

We'll meet in front of the Brighton Eye 1130-1145 to then make our way up to the pub as our room is booked for midday.

It looks like the change in weather conditions will arrive in Brighton Saturday afternoon/evening, pack umbrellas just in case!

Bad news. I've just realised that I've only brought enough medication to take me through to put original return day of Friday. Unless someone's got a supply of three different sorts of tablets, then we're not going to be able to come. What's really annoying is that normally I just pack a load of the blister packs but, for only the second time, I popped the exact number into a storage tin.

Hopefully we'll see lots of you at Anita's.

If it's drugs you need I'm told there are one or two places in Brighton where most things can be found...

Coùld you register as a temporary visitor at the nearest gp and ask for a prescription?

I think most pharmacies will give you enough to tide you over a weekend without a prescription in an emergency (with exceptions for some particular drugs) If they want to query it they can always ring your GP.

Pat's done it before when she has forgotten to put a repeat prescription in in time.

Yeah put the system on test Abs. Be a shame for you to miss out. Anyone at home that could post enough of what you need to me and I could bring it along on Sat?

Plan to leave here between 5 and 6pm so should be there between 7 and 8pm.

Are you travelling with the main convoy in the morning? Or with Tim and th Kombi Krew?

Just read the paperwork and the convoy is due to set off at 8am - 30 mins earlier than last year.
