Cat D vehicles can make a lot of sense at the right price. This one is overpriced by £5000* imo if it is a supposed private sale. Certainly looks like a campervan company. I assume they're offering this is a private buy so as to not offer a warranty.

seems strange that a "light repair" would cause a write off on such a high value vehicle
I seen a few royally stuffed cars including rolling one and the insurance company like to fix them if they are not very old, I now have a clause in the test car insurance that once pranged they are replaced at new value as they are never right afterwards hopefully wont need to invoke it any time!

Looking closer you can see that not all of the conversion is Danbury. The RHD and r/r bed maybe but not the poptop or kitchen unit.
I'd pay £22,000 tops.
