This is a promo video of the music festival we are going to for the weekend before the Sleepover. We go every year and it's one of our highlights. Some people go just for the day...some stay the whole weekend. This year we are taking Bumble for the first time. The early bird discount tickets finish at the end of this month. What good taste they have in their colour choice of campervans for the video!

We have 3 weeks booked off work for June into July. We will fill the petrol tank, grab the acsi camping books, cross the channel and see where we get to. Ann is tempted by the lakes in Italy but a lot will depend on where the sun is.

We have come up with a loose plan for june/july. Will ferry Portsmouth to st Malo on the overnight. That will set us up with time to do a big drive south, hopefully to get down to arcachon. Spend a week on the beach before dropping down into the Pyrenees for a week hiking around the mountains and waterfalls. Then we have a week to get back up to st Malo, possibly stopping at Nantes for a brief city break. Obviously weather permitting, it gives us a direction to head. A little bit of everything.

Sounds perfect. Why not keep going and get the ferry back from Santander or Bilbao?
We don't use the ferries back from Spain to keep the costs down. This will be the third year we will have gone in June, which is still low season so pitch fee's are minimal even on the coastal sites, especially if you join the acsi camping card. We will be spending more next week going to lanzarote for the week than 3 weeks campsite fee's and ferry in June.

Hi. Glastonbury carnival is on sat 21st November this year ( my 50th by coincidence) and I was brought up in street/Glastonbury so thought I'd head 'home' in nev to celebrate. The campsite has very good reviews - is very dog friendly (boris). So for a slightly wacky weekend check it out. I can honestly say it's a carnival like no other - amazing floats that take all year to create with thousands of lights and moving parts, great soundtracks and teams of dedicated nut cases!

We had a great time people watching in Glastonbury earlier in the year - heaven alone knows what comes out of the woodwork for the carnival. I'll discuss with Mrs B and let you know if we are coming.
