Subject: Space saving saucepans - recommendations? Mon Jan 26, 2015 1:00 pm
A good clear out of Mabel's cupboards this weekend reminded me how little storage we have and just how much space our faithful wok takes up! If anyone has any recommendations for decent saucepans and frying pans that pack down, collapse or otherwise can help Make more room for other essentials (eg single malt and malt loaf) then it would be much appreciated!
My staple food is the £6 stir fry you get in M&S - meat/stir fry veg/noodles/sauce so you can cook it all in the 1 pot and don't even need to chop the veg!

I use a set of Tefal saucepans with folding handles bought from Argos, but they don't seem to be available anymore.
Instead they are selling the Tefal Ingenio range which have detachable handles but similar very clever fold-flat lids which you have to buy separately
With mine I can get 3 saucepans with lids, a colander and a steamer all stacked in the space of the large saucepan (I use the large saucepan as a frying pan)

We brought this stacking 3 Set from Amazon, haven't used them yet but they look pretty robust and they are a nice colour too. Orange stacking saucepans

BTW I recommend using cardboard / original packaging / paper towels between nesting saucepans if they are non-stick otherwise they won't be non-stick for long!
