My 60th Birthday bash at The Craven Arms Beer Festival, Appletreewick, North Yorkshire - 16/17/18 October 15

Can't wait!

That's us booked and paid for the nights of the 16th & 17th. I did state main pitch under 6m camper.
Looking forward to making new friends and perhaps sampling a few beers.

We've got as many attendees as the first ever Sleepover had in 2011 - I can't tell you how pleased I am that so many of you are coming to help me celebrate my Birthday (or is it the Beer Festival that's the attraction?).

Let's hope for some weather as good as the company.

Yes indeed & she took a note. I presume she understands that it's the vehicles that are from Brazil & not the people.

Myself & Margaret are looking forward to the meet as we have seldom bumped in to others with a Brazilian Bay.

Would have loved to come but no chance getting there and back in the van with no holiday left.
Been looking for hotels for the Sat night as very do'able in the car.... Did consider for a milli-second the two man pop up tent but might be a tad chilly...

Absinthe has a glawning with wood burner.... Just sayin....

They have rooms at the Ref Lion in Burnsall I think, Steve and there are a few B&Bs too. It would be great to see you.

Alison had a message from the Red Lion yesterday. They wanted to know if she was turning up with her party of 20. YESTERDAY!

She's rung them to confirm that the booking is for Sat 17th October. The guy who answered the phone was very embarrassed and apologised profusely. 

She checked the dog situation as well. They were going to put us in the restaurant which has a no dogs rule (they've got a wedding on in the upstairs room). The chap has said that if we're in the restaurant he'll ignore the no dogs rule for us. 

Result.

Worth ringing them to check, ALS, if you're thinking of joining us. They may be able to squeeze you in amongst our group.

Hi, this weekend (Ditf) will be the first weekend with the three of us in the van and a long Friday night journey - if successful I'll give them a ring on Monday (as long as it's ok to bring an 8 year old - please say if not - no offence will be taken)

There's no problem bringing her along although I think she'd be the only child in the group. There'll be lots of children on the site and plenty at the pub too, I suspect.

I just received an email today asking me to confirm that I required electric hook up.
I have confirmed YES.

They also supplied some info about the beer festival which I assume others will receive as well.

Just replied to the same email myself.

And me.

Replied yes to hook up too.

If you've not yet confirmed that you'll be joining us for lunch on Saturday afternoon, please let us know as soon as you can so we can confirm numbers to the pub.
