50 days to our big event now!!!
Can't wait , fancy dress sorted and already planning our themed van decorations - More cutting and gluing ahead for me!! Lots of usable items found in the loft, did remind me though that the loft needs a good clear out!
If you're new to the forum please sign up for this event , there won't be a better opportunity to meet some really fantastic people, look around their amazing Kombi's, have a social drink or three and witness for yourself the real community that has been built up by Tim and his band of merry men over the last few years.
Don't forget either that this event is open to friends and family too so get yourself signed up, you know you want to !

As you know, we have booked a live band for the Sunday night at the Kombi Sleepover this year, The Heisenbergs.
Just in case anyone was in the area and fancied a night out, The Heisenbergs are playing from 8:45pm Sat 15th at the Langley Tavern near Fawley in the New Forest (SO45 1XR) and have some other gigs coming up too.
They have also offered to learn some new songs for our event - they have quite a large repertoire already - so if anyone has some suggestions then post on here and I will pass the requests on.

Tim, I'm assuming there'll be no washing up facilities on the field. My plan involves disposable plates and cutlery.
How far away is the nearest food shop?

Abs - there are no washing up facilities as such, but there will be running water.
There is a Tesco and a co-op on the western edge of Bicester about 5 miles away, numerous other stores in and around Bicester and there may well be smaller shops in the local villages of Ardley or Middleton Stoney whcih are just a mile or two away North and South.
