Back home to Lancashire sunshine and reflecting on a brilliant weekend.

There'll be a Blog along at some point and I've also got an article to write for Camper & Commercial magazine. I'm well aware that there were much better photographers than me at the Slepepover and I'd like to "borrow" some of your photos for my Blog, and also for the article.

I wouldn't normally use other people's pics for articles I submit, but on this occasion I feel that I'm representing the Forum by writing it and I'd like to donate the £75 I'll be paid if they publish it, to the Charity fund. If anyone doesn't want me to use their photos would you let me know please and, of course, I'll respect your wishes.

Home and exhausted. Thanks to Tim and the gang for organising yet another great event. Happy memories of good times with our ever expanding "family" of vw friends. Thank you. X

Sitting at my desk at work , looking at the horrendous rain outside .... But still wearing a huge smile when I look at my photos of the weekend - Brazi-Bays are the perfect antidote to weather and work !!!

Just a quick note to say a Big Thank to you all for such a tremendous weekend.

We had such an amazing time, even though Steve has ended up in hospital. ( The joys of him thinking

he is still 20 when play rounders)... After 7 hours in casualty yesterday they decided to keep him in

ready for a scan this morning which has shown that his top ligament is torn, he is just waiting for the

consultant to arrive to advise what time he will be going down to theatre.

Also a big thank you to all those that nursed Steve and helped to make him comfortable whilst he

was in agony. I know he loved all the female attention... lol

Big thumbs up to Tim V for all the hard work and organising that was put in to make it such a

successful weekend. Thank you all... Cant wait for the next one...

Glad he's getting sorted, we can compare knee op scars in Bakewell!

Hope all goes well with the Op and he's on the mend soon...

Was good to meet you both and hope Steve is on the mend soon, also with a bit of luck, we'll see you at the Northern do.

They're slow to pay, but as soon as I get the £75 I'll send it on to Tim for our Charity.

The article I wrote is in this month's Camper & Commercial Magazine. It looks great and has cheered me up no end.

I will be paid £75 for the article (eventually- they're not quick payers) I'll donate it to our Charity.
