We are back on Bristol and planning our next trip, our first real trip. Now that the van has been fixed! We are going on Saturday, then back for one day on Wednesday for a birthday party, then back out until Sunday. So we have two trips.

Where would you guys recommend for two short trips from the Bristol area?

Currently we are thinking new forest for one and maybe Wales/Peak District for the other. Any recommendations for dog friendly sites would be appreciated!

If you are a member of the Caravan Club (it might be worth joining) we enjoyed the sites at Freshwater East in Pembrokeshire and Chatsworth in Derbyshire.

Have you tried croft farm water park near Tewksbury ? Nice site and you can use their lake ( take your own boat / canoe etc or hire )

Yes it's a great site . They do some events there too including a small
Music festival around August . You could also go over to Wales which is nice too and some great sites ... Have fun!
