Made a side skirt cut out of a cheap tent footprint and attached by  a number of magnets fixed into a hem. My awning footprint will drop inside the floor section and the sides will attach to the sides of the tunnel using the attached awning bungees. Hopefully the dogs won't now try and escape as they'll not see any gaps to dive for. 

Pics aren't very good as the sun was getting low by the time I finished up but Hopefully you'll get the idea 

That's a neat idea and better than the blow up versions.

Cleaned, polished and prepped Tallulah for a 2 day hire.

I checked all the fluids as normal and for the first time in the 4 1/2 years we've had her I needed to top up the oil. 1/2 a litre brought her back up the correct level, she was serviced in Feb and hasn't done much mileage since then

No hire bookings for the BH weekend - plenty of enquiries but no-one willing to part with hard cash - so we loaded the SUK (Sports Utility Kombi) with a bike and a kayak and took it to Dinton Pastures, a local cycling, walking, water sports venue for some fun.

Oli and Serena had some fun on the water while I peddled like a maniac around the various lakes on the dirt tracks. 10 or so miles later I stopped for lunch before helping to pack everything back into Tallulah - except the bike which I then pedalled the 12 or so miles back home.

We will all sleep well tonight!

Packed up the van for next weekend and built my new easybase as think I might be needing it soon..

Drove to angles sur lanolin for steak au frites, had a mooch round town, did a spot of fishing. Back at the camp site now may be time for a vin rouge or two

Does it tilt for boot and engine bay access?

Yes the vertical bar releases and tilts downwards for boot and engine bay access , intend on attaching it for this weekend so come have a look..

Tried and failed to fit LED sidelights.  I am not practically minded at all, but the bulbs were the same spec and size but simply didn't work. Any suggestions?!

Did you try them round both ways - leds only work in one direction.

Went to a market in Loches. Gave Iris a much needed wash at a lavage, she looks a bit better now, not quite so many squished insects. Then had a picnic by the river & back in time for gin o'clock

MY. I've got a serious case of jealousy. Still not seen any fish on FB though!
