Scooby is now all packed ready for tomorrow - only one more sleep

We're hoping to be there for about 5.30pm - really looking forward to seeing the gang - sorry to hear Keith is not great - we all hope he has a swift recovery.

Stan is 3/4 packed only a day at work / school, a tennis coaching session and the M3 away from DITF. Yay

Nevs ready in the car park, change of clothes in bag - it'll be a quick end of the day assembly - let's hope Gary can get away swiftly - I will be waiting outside his office engine revving!

What a FAB weekend we have just had at Dubs in the Forest
Great weather, great company, great Brazi Bays.

Sorry that the lead convoy vehicle vanished but the satnav said the M27 was at a standstill so we followed the alternative inland to Winchester - there was no way of letting you guys know what we were doing - sorry - hope the delay wasn't too long

No probs, it was slow for a bit but not too bad. We got home in about two hours which is about what we were expecting.

15 miles from home we broke down after a big bang from the gearbox and a camper stuck in 2nd or 3rd (TBC) stranded in the inside line of a busy A Road. Following recovery on a flat bed truck we arrived home safe and sound around midnight... Will elaborate further after a few calls have been made.

Certainly put a damper on a fantastic weekend...

We do have good news for DITF 2017 for Forum Members which again once we have a little more information on we will add onto a new thread..

That'll be great ABS , organizers promising more guaranteed pitches in 2017 just waiting to hear how many and the dates of the event.

Will hopefully be back on the road soonest , being taken to Brand Auto's tomorrow but gearbox is pretty sick...

Not good news BB but I'm sure Brand Autos will get you back on the road soon.
Do you think you're going to need a new gearbox like Voyager?

Sorry to hear that after such a great weekend....hope all goes well. Claire Adams came over to thank me for a Facebook comment and she seemed thrilled with how we added to the atmosphere and loved our costumes. She hinted that we would be more than welcome back. Next year's theme is seventies and eighties......flower power!

Not sure HH , Paul's initial thoughts are that it sounds like we can keep the gearbox and insert replacement German parts with the work done by a top refurbisher. The alternative would be to replace with a German box like Voyager. Van will be back at Paul's tomorrow after a bit of a fight with the RAC and once he has the box out we can make a final decision.

Had no indication at all there was a problem , we were cut up at a roundabout 15 miles from home , had to stop then had problems selecting first but no grinding and when I pulled away a large bang followed. We're definitely stuck in a gear , probably 2nd. I can move the gearstick to where the gears should be and the stick itself moves as if its in neutral but it won't come out of 2nd to select them.
