| We know some of you have used all kinds of foam to improve sleeping in your Kombi. Currently we are seeking advice on what seems to work best Have used the search facility without any real success (Doo not want memory foam) ________________________________________________________________________________ Proud winners of Spike's Trophy 2017 Scooby - Born To Run | |

| We have a very large and thick blanket we use on top of the R+R bed when sleeping. Works a treat. ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

When not in 'sleep mode' the blanket is folded and lays across the boot to protect the seat/mattress cover from whatever gets loaded in there. ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| I bought a piece of memory foam from EBay, made a template of the bed and cut the foam to size/shape. For travelling it gets rolled up, put in a waterproof bag and up on the roof rack. A double bed sheet gets put on the top and tucked under whilst sleeping. This seems to do the job nicely and does ensure a comfortable nights sleep. After writing all that I just re read your post and noted you don't want memory foam. That's why I tell my students to 'always read the question carefully before answering' ! | |

| Hi Scooby More past info if you search 'Duvets or Sleeping Bags?'. The Danbury roof-bed mattress folds in half for flat storage behind the rear bench seat. So loading the camper is little changed when it is there. This is not memory foam and was comfortable but smaller than the bed in the Diamond. Probable a good fit in the Rio. We now have a larger version made for us by Tockfield. osg | |

| We use the roof mattress then on top of that a Zonesleep mattress topper which normally is on our bed. We also have 2 single Duvalays but only P has used it so far. We'll bring one next week for you to look at M. | |

| Ended up with a memory foam topper from Dunelm in the end! (after saying we were not going this route) Thanks for all of the feedback and also to Bumble for bringing their Duvalay to Goodwood for us to look at. ________________________________________________________________________________ Proud winners of Spike's Trophy 2017 Scooby - Born To Run | |
