When I go into their Customer Space and enter the booking details, nothing comes up. Is anyone else having this problem? When I enter the wrong details it flags an error, but otherwise nothing.

Ok, just checked back to my booking and the deposit has been validated.
I began an online chat to the reception at Interlude. They confirmed the booking, said that we are in the B area and pitches will be allocated on arrival.

Sorted now. I had pop-up blocker enabled in Internet Explorer. When I disabled it the booking details came up OK.

And for others if you try to log in on Interlude's website to look at your booking don't forget to use the name Bellamy as the lead name.

It looks like things are going fine as far as booking into the site on the Ile de Re is concerned.

If anyone has any issues please let me know.

The general consensus, when we first started planning the trip, was that we 'd try and have a one night stopover close to St Malo on the return trip on Saturday night, to avoid having to set off from Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré too early on the Sunday morning.

I'm looking for a volunteer to contact a few sites (or just one if they'll have us!) to see if they will accept us for one night. It's high season in France so we may struggle, but hopefully we'll be able find somewhere suitable.

I suggest that we start by each confirming whether we need a pitch on the 19th near St Malo.

I'll start by saying that we do, and I'll add a new list to the first post. I'll also send a group PM to ask for a response.

I am trying to pay deposit - I can get to the booking details and the page with the payment options. I hit validate and the website crashes every time - I have tried more than 20 times and am starting to feel vexed!!!!!!!!!

Any thoughts?

I have also tried phoning- it just rings for ages then cuts off..

Re overnight stay - we will need an overnight stay on the THursday - I will try the same campsite we used last year - it was about 20 mins from ferry.

I think Voyager was on the phone to them - I held for 15 minutes but am now using the online chat facility.

I used the online chat. They mentioned to me that you were online at the same time Martin. I changed our booking to run from Sunday to Sunday. We originally planned to travel back from Caen overnight on Monday, but I will now change that to a Sunday overnight ferry.

I've just finished a conversation with Paul at Sunelia and he's asked that all communications in future come via me - it's too confusing for him to work out who is part of the group and bookings are starting to get very busy.

Als is still having problems paying a deposit. I paid my three without issues this morning. Has anyone else had problems?

Hi Martin I know it's a lot to ask but us and Eclipse will need a Friday night stopover before the Saturday ferry home. In communications re Sat night if you could also mention Friday fot 2 vans would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately my French CSE grade 1 is a distant memory...

I'm happy to volunteer to contact some sites in the St Malo area on behalf of the group. I think the issue will be to find one that'll be happy for a one night stay.
@Als Where did you stay last year for your stopover?

Just a thought - It might be an idea to look at alternatives to camping in the form of a Campanile. It would save the hassle of unpacking for one night. What do folks think?

Campanile or Formule 1 would be ok for us. There is a municipal campsite in St Malo that might take us.
