Early May Bank Holiday 28th April-1st May 2017 - brazibays go to Southwold. Anyone else?

Hi all, yesterday Sally, from Louie Bluey, reminded me that I had thought of a meet up near Southwold on the early may bank holiday weekend 2017.
The campsite we have stayed at previously is Cliff House Holiday Park - Minsmere - a short drive from Southwold.

Is this something anyone would be interested in?

If so I can pursue and find out some further details.

Currently space available for pitches together I the sunken garden . 190.191. 192 etc if you want to look at the map

cost - £26 per night £78 total (Incl hook up)

so let me know if you're in and I'll ring back and reserve spaces and then you'll need to call and pay independently

We could convoy to Southwold - fish and chips on the pier? gin tour at adnams? etc. when we went last time dogs were ok pretty much everywhere except for the post office!

Will have to keep you posted a third night might be an issue for us.

I guess you only have to stay the two nights?

tbh we've started booking the night after wherever we are so that we don't have to rush off on departure day -

Sat and Sunday shouldn't be a problem. It would only be a Friday night issue...

Hi Angela , Can you check that if we book the Fri,Sat and Sun and only turn up for Sat and Sun night will that cause them a problem?

Hi Steve, I will check - but I am sure it won't be a problem - I can always sling up a pup tent on your pitch!

I have booked 5 pitches all currently with 2 adults and free ehu
If you want to add children/dogs/awnings you'll need to let them know when you call

They have given us 48 hours for you to call them to make payment. £78 for the 3 nights.

Dave and Sira I'm guessing you may know the area best? I'm thinking maybe Saturday convoy into Southwold, maybe a brewery tour and a potter around the town and fish and chips at the café on the pier?
Sunday - time at base camp - beach, chill, walk through the reserve - do your own thing - BBQ
Monday - convoy to snape maltings for a potter and lunch before heading home

Any thoughts from anyone or am I overthinking things?

Would love to do a Brewery tour but not sure what time we'll arrive so we'll have to leave that at the moment.

Hi Julie/Keith indeed it is. And a 6th pitch is also available but not yet reserved if anyone else is interested

They are open all weekend to take bookings. If you take 201 above and quote the booking ref attached.

All booked Just to let you know it is actually pitch 210 but they said it was the one with all the others.

Scooby too will be coming along just as soon as we can book in with the campsite.
