It's a rule of my marriage that Ian never haves to watch grease

We assume that still does not prevent him from dressing up!

Booked and Paid.  I'm hoping Mrs Surfwagen will be off her crutches by then and be fit enough to join us!

Now that the May madness of half term and bank holidays is almost over, we have started finalising a few things for the Summer Solstice meet.


The plans..... (still being developed....)

Friday - Keeping things nice and relaxed for arrivals, chatting, drinking, some background music, communal BBQ and maybe a movie.

Saturday - a woodland yoga session (bring your own mats), arts and crafts for the kids, bit of a sports day (weather dependant) one or two other things yet to be confirmed but nothing too taxing. Pizza (provided by our friends at Swingin’ Hot Pizza) and a disco in the evening.

Sunday - a relaxed morning finishing up with a convoy to either: Perry’s Cider Mill or Charmouth Beach.

Some people have asked if there is a theme for fancy dress etc, we wanted to keep things relaxed so it will be completely optional, but the theme will be:


We have also applied for a temporary events license which will permit us to play music a little later should we want to, but also for us to sell alcohol on site for the event. We therefore plan to have a stock of beer, cider and wine available to buy at very reasonable prices should anyone need some!!
