| Well, we pick it up on the Thursday, then put our bits and pieces in it and make it our own. Then on Good Friday we head off to Norfolk to see relatives for the Easter hols...... then back to work for 2 days and then off for another long weekend (undecided where yet!) :-)))) |

Sounds like a plan. There is also a BraziBay Easter meet in Norfolk, you might like to pop in and say hi to a few fellow Brazi owners! 2018 - Easter Eastern Meet - Norfolk________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| That would be good to catch up with some of you and introduce ourselves and Merlot to the group. I’ll talk to “Mrs Badger” to see if we can manage to fit in a window somewhere :-) |

| Good thanks Tim. It has a few quirks and niggles, but I think that’s to be expected with all things Campervan! We have bits to do, lots to discover and the journey back from Bristol was long and painful (7 hours sitting in traffic in the rain). We are going to try spending our first night in it tonight (again, in the rain!) lol. Haven’t actually managed to spend time to appreciate Merlot yet, but have this weekend and a couple of days next week to get the hang of everything and will update after this (and no doubt have queries!) We found out that if you use the heater whilst driving for 7 hours it drains the leisure battery considerably (probably should have realised this, but hey, we know now....... Doh! Will also probably be looking to change the throttle cable at some point, but it’s ok for the moment (Danbury obviously didn’t put in a single new cable, but just eased the original a little bit) Anyway, bye for now and we’ll update again soon :-) |

| Now the fun begins!
No split charge relay to charge the leisure battery while driving? ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| The heater should not drain battery when driving sounds like your split charger is not working . Looking very good nice colour | |

| Are you sure the heater is wired to the leisure battery and not the starter battery? That would be the norm. Maybe something else has drained the leisure battery .....? ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Erm, I don’t think the fridge is on (it was a bit cool inside, but I put that down to rubbish weather and it being cold outside?!?! There are no lights in this fridge to say on or off. It isn’t front opening, it’s a toploader and quite big. I’ll try and investigate a bit today....... We did have a good nights sleep though (found we have one slight drip though, that comes from the rear bolt that secures the metal bar to pull the roof down) |
