Baby Blue Paint Code??? Empty
PostSubject: Baby Blue Paint Code???   Baby Blue Paint Code??? EmptyWed Jul 10, 2019 7:18 pm

Hi, does anyone know the actual paint code for the standard baby blue paint done by Danbury?

I’m trying to touch up the odd scratch and the 3 variants of ‘baby blue’ I’ve bought so far aren’t even a close match. There seems to be little info on the paint codes used by Danbury.

Any help / advise appreciated, hopefully stop the lottery of touch up sticks bought so far!!!

Cheers

Maybe a long shot, but have you looked on the nearside headlight bulge inside the passenger compartment. Around 2010 Danbury sometimes put a label there with the paint code, in my case LA6M which is Green Tendence. Failing that you may need to get it colour matched by a paint mixing specialist.

Mine is DU 20 D41 on the label, see my image. I have got a good paint match with this code. Is this the same shade as yours or are you the ‘bluer’ one?

Dizzylizzard - Looked for the label by the headlamps - no joy, but worth checking.

Hemlock, yes mine looks like a similar colour to yours so i’ll try that one for now....

No joy on searching google for the code DU20 D41, so back to square one. I think the colour is similar to the colour that the new fiat 500’s are painted, so that’s my next guess.....

In my Danbury documents i’ve found a reference to Blue CE-SB078.08, but again google returns nothing.

The quest continues!
