Danbury Fridge Help Empty
PostSubject: Danbury Fridge Help   Danbury Fridge Help EmptyTue Aug 18, 2020 9:24 am

Hi Everyone,
We have purchased a 2008 Danbury with very little information about the internal fittings. In particular the fridge. We went away the other weekend and set up on a wild camp in the Brecon Beacons. Unfortunatley the fridge light is on but it never seemed to get cold. There is a red illuminated switch high above the sink area, does this have anything to do with the fridge? Obviously there was no electric hook up on the site.

Not sure we have ever seen a "red illuminated switch high above the sink area", sounds like it might be a custom addition, in which case who knows what it might be for?

Is your kombi definitely a Danbury conversion, if so, what else does it have that the switch might operate? eg. Drop-down TV?

What type of fridge is it and have you tested the leisure battery?

Does everything else work?

Hi Ju Beattie,

To be honest, my experience is that there is (in general) very little information about the internal fittings, full stop! lol! All have their idiosyncracies and no two insides are the same!

Do you have any pictures of it you could share, as they may help us to help you? (in addition to Tallulah's questions)

P.

Hi, is it a chest freezer next to the seat and is the red switch by the seat just under the worktop?
