Been thinking about the next makeover for Olive, I am having the wheels painted white with the green hubs, now condsidering whitewall tyres, who has them and do I have to change the tyre or are there white rims you can fit onto the existing tyre

Not sure how you go about it, but having seen Tim's white walls on 'Max' they do look very good!

Yeah I agree, just been on a website that come to your own location and buff out a groove then add white rubber onto the tyre. Dont know how good this is but its a lot cheaper than buying new tyres. Olive has only done 12k on the new tyres and it seems a waste to waste those.

Someone will always buy a decent set of tyres off you that will fit a Bay. I sold my old set to Gary from Cool Campers last year at Volksworld.
My white banded tyres came from Karmann Konnection. They will undoubtedly have them on special at Volksworld on their stand.
You can buy those hideous flappy bits that go inside the wheel for about 40 quid or you can get them painted as you say. I recommend:

Cheers Tim, I'm with you on the flappy bits, I wanted them done by the show so I may look at having them painted

She sure will, off to halfords to buy the axle stands, then off with the wheels to be painted white, then whitewalled. Come on Kiteman you know you want to
