The name is Carol and Richard Dixon and we are from South Africa. We bought a 2012 model with a1400 engine water cooled this year in London and due to Covid we obviously did not use it much. I retired in July and we took our van to Scotland. We spent two weeks visiting the Ilse of Jura, Mull and Skye and then two weeks touring around the west coast below Glasgow. The engine did not miss a beat and the gearbox was a little chunky which is expected. The van is due for a service and I was wondering if your readers could advise me of a garage that specializez in servicing these vans or could we take it to Just Kampers. Will send photos next time and truly sorry to have missed the annual get together in September. Richard (Dicko)
I'm sure we can suggest Brazibay-friendly garages!
P.

Hi P,
I live in St Margaret's (Twickenham) and the van is parked in the underground parking of the complex we stay in. I am prepared to travel. Thanks Richard

We get our van serviced at the Farnborough Volkswagen Centre which may be a good option for you as just down the M3. They specialise in classic Volkswagens and have been brilliant in fixing some bits for us.
