sun canopies

We are trying to locate a sun canopy for van,pref waterproof/uva which will fit to van with pole and clamp / figure 8 attatchment,looked at kyham version ,but found out stopped making them last year !!! would prefer one with sides of a fashion to stop a bit of side wind if reqd.I seem to have looked forever ,so was hoping someone might know of something.

Have you looked at the Fiamma range. You can get extras like side canopies for their awnings. Think you have to have them permanently attached to the van though.

thanks denni ,dont know what you seem to do wrong with your pole and figure 8,we have had our khyam awning on both ,i admit the figure 8 is ok in good weather,but we have had no problems with the pole ,in all types of weather,i tend to put duct tape in the gutter where the pole clamps sit and it seems to do the trick ,possibly as you say fills the gutter up slightly so pole fits better ,also tape saves damage to paintwork,i use white duct tape so can be left on and not look terrible when away from van for the day ,then remove when at home.thanks again for commnts
