Okay here goes.I bought my Danbury RIO water cooled van new in 2008.Its'pale green/white and has done 21000 km. For the first few years I had her serviced by Danbury but it is too far to travel there from here in Colchester so any work on her is now done by my local garage. I have done a few camping trips but just like driving her, which I do for most local journeys;school runs, shopping etc. I only drive her on fine dry days in the winter, hence the low mileage. Rust has cropped up along many of the edges of the bodywork and seams;also on engine bay door. This has been dealt with by a local car body repairers and has proved the biggest expense so far.I also had to have an oil seal in the steering box replaced. This item was obtained from Danbury efficiently and at reasonable expense.I have also had a new battery. The van still has its original tyres and exhaust but the latter may not last much longer. Would seriously consider a stainless steel one but not sure of cost or where to get one from -Danbury perhaps.I really enjoy driving my van and would not anticipate selling her. Just have to keep on top of the rust. Just recently noticed changing into second is a bit stiff - better get it seen to. As the van gets older no things will wear out and need replacing.I am slightly worried about the availability of parts although I guess Danbury must be the best source of these. They always seems very helpful and friendly. Does anyone know of any good camper van specialists near Colchester/Clacton. Finally the rubber seals around the tailights leak.Where can I get replacements.

Ricardo, just use the search facility at the top of the main page, all your questions will be answered there, Danbury are by no means the only ones with parts, or who will do the work you need. If you spend some time wandering around the forum you will find everything you need, well worth spending time doing it, you will save money and meet some great people.

Hi Ricardo Never used them but have driven past and noticed the vans often parked up - search VW Bullibarn - Halstead road Colchester. Claim to be specialists in vw camper vans and beetles
