It's fairly straight forward.
Create a new post. In the thumbnails you'll see a screen with a floppy disk in front of it which shows up "host an image" when you cursor onto it.
Click that thumbnail and it will bring up a browser box for you to point to where you have your image stored.
You can at this point choose what size you want the image to be - in general go for the website size to keep our storage use down. Click Host it. You will then get a choice of 3 options. Choose the middle one "copy" - click on your post (now behind the new pop up box) and paste the link.
If you now press "preview" you should be able to see how your image looks and it will remove the photo uploader box. You can keep adding images in this way until your message is complete. When you're happy, press "send."
NB: please remember you are not allowed to copy and paste images onto the site that do not belong to you. You must seek the permission of the owner of the image before posting it. You are of course perfectly entitled to post your own images.

On your Flickr account somewhere there will be a link for each image starting with http etc.
Copy that link. Then click on the small green screen icon above the text box for IMAGE. In the box that then appears paste the link you have in your buffer. Click OK. Then press Preview down below and you should see how your image will appear in your post.

If you've managed to upload an image to Servimg.com but can't get it to appear in your messages, try this method:
Got to your account on Servimg.com
Go into the 'my images' folder.
Underneath any photo there are two phrases: original size and links
Click on 'links'
Next you'll see a series of computer lines linking to your image.
In the group of boxes called BBcode copy the line that appears under the word 'image'
Paste that line into the text box here.
Press Preview
If you're happy press Send.

Subject: Problem position of Photo Uploader Box in"How to post photos/images" Sun Jun 10, 2012 7:31 pm
Tim I do follow the instructions you have given in Sticky:How to post photos/image However at the stage where the instruction is to click 'Preview' or 'Send' I often find that the Photo Uploader Box is overlying these two buttons. So much so that there can be nothing to click on. Particularly if trying to add more than one photo. LilyVdub has told me of the same problem. What are we doing wrong? osg
