Just got back from a nine night stint with bessy, staying firstly at pinewoods campsite at well next the sea norfolk, then onto broadlands (a caravan club site) at ludham bridge near wroxham on the norfolk broads followed by the last three nights at aldebrough suffolk coast. All the camp sites can be recommended for differing aspects and the locations themselves had great things to offer including enough to keep a 6 year old entertained as well (e,g. beach, crabbing, fishing, day motor boat hire on broads, bewilderwood adventure park, rowing on the mere) The kyham motordome sleeper awning performed well and was up and down like a yo-yo. However an unexpected bonus/highlight was for aqua bay bessy blue to meet up at the last site with beryl air cool (firesafetydave) and family ...... very nice ....and hope to meet up again at some point!

It was great to meet you all at Aldebrough and your van is fantastic. After we left you we drove to Southwold, through Thorpness as you suggested(found my sweatshirt at the golf club - result). Had agreat day at Southwold - loads of walking, a bit too much sun and then a nice slow drive home.
We are going to book pinewoods for the end of the holidays as per your recomendation.
Sure to see you al on our travels again - have a great rest of the summer.

firesafetydave, glad you found the sweatshirt and had good return journey....look frward to a meet up in near future.

scooby, good luck with the kyham on its first outing, little tip slide a a bit of pipe foam insulation on the end of the sliding door when open, will just give the corner a bit of protection from chaffing the tunnel part of the awning, as i did manage to put a small tear in mine when i hadnt aligned it properly. Also a little bit of material put above the clamps will help with chaffing the material connecting to the van.

peppa, i think you could be right...the blue certainly works well with bessy as well...shame they dont come in shades of man pink!
