VW Action South West 13 - 15 April Stithians near Truro

A bit late I know shipmates but please ave a read of me log Haa Harrr
We got to Stithians around 14:30 and set up camp, straight away the cabin boy wanted to go on the bouncy castles.


The weather was overcast and breezy but pleasant enough to sit out and have a Cornish ice cream.


The poor bloke had his van vandalised the night before the show so there was no Mr whippy

The entertainment sounded good on friday night but as first mate Jane had a gammy leg and we was a bit fatigued we hit the hammocks early. Saturday started out well with sunshine but was a tad breezy. The show was organised to raise funds for charity and was the end of a John o groats to Lands end epic on Mopeds

The show was well organised as always at Stithians, great entertainment for the Kids, Clothing Stalls, good selection of grub stalls, Retrodubs etc etc. and a great fancy dress "school wear" with a sleep over in the main marquee brill
Plenty of cars & vans at the show and shine, from early Bugs to Passats.

The rain held off untill 16:00 then it came down till around 21:30 but the overall mark for this show was a gert 8 out of ten. Stithians also hosts cornwall Jambo in August, a favourite of mine and well worth a trip. We normally tag it on the end or begining of a week in Kernow.

We didn't see any at the show but we did see a nice light blue one in the Tesco car park Redruth.
