First decent day of 2012

At last some decent/ warm weather! Were out today, and parked up on Bleadon Hill, Somerset overlooking part of Somerset levels, towards Brent Knoll and Brean where the Vanwest is held. Got so hot had to take my pullover off! Bring on the summer.

Excellent! Hoping to venture out ourselves tomorrow if the sun shines in Cambridgeshire. Great number plate by the way and pictures.

Thanks for the comments, we park up there quite a lot for our lunch and a brew. You can see South Wales and North Devon across the Bristol Channel, so we chill out and dream of the summer to come, and all those trips to be made.

Hi, splitsombrero, will certainly have to meet up soon, as you say we can have a mini-Bay meet at a pub some where central for the rest of the 'souwesters'

Hi Dizzy, there is a place called the watchfield inn which has camping at the rear, I'ts about 6 mins from jct 22 and opposite a Zider farm it's under new management and is a massive improvement over last year, I could sound it out

I think I know it, on the road to Wedmore, perhaps we can meet up one weekend in the near future for a pint of grog.
