| Shame there is no rear pasgenger seating when the pod is in the van, otherwise very cool!

| Not sure that's not true, I was speaking to the designer/owner while at Volksworld and I think he said you could add seats in the back as it uses the same seating rails as a normal T5. ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com

| saw this at Volksworld as well - I loved it, but my better half said it had the feel of a 'coffin' about it.
I have a soft spot for the T5 anyway, so this just added to the appeal!! | |

Such an extension was marketed as the AMESCADOR but based on canvas.

| AMESCADOR was made by the Dutch company AMES CAMPING but only during the 1970's

| I think the Doubleback is superb. But what happens when the electrics fail? Do you get the M-I-L to push the back in?! Or maybe it's like an old commercial jet - you have to wind the back in with some form of crank handle, like they used to get the undercarriage down. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer
