The sun is out

The sun is out and rumoured to be here for the whole weekend.
Its Ringstead Bay for me, packing the van today and heading out early tomorrow to get ahead of the traffic. Booked in for 1 night at Crossways Caravan club site, so 2 days of beach, beach, beach.
Forget the D.I.Y. Put off the cleaning. Say goodbye to the lawnmower. The sun is out, use it before we lose it.

What have you got planned?

Love Ringstead. Have done many hours hang gliding there. Great site (also where I had my most spectacular crash, necessitating air ambulance but that's another story). I'm a bit, well a lot, further along the coast, in Chichester. First run for Sunny.

And what a fun run. Mind you, not sure what speed you're supposed to travel to get 40mpg =:-O Also very glad I didn't go for big alloys. With dropped suspension the ride would have been hard. It was quite an experience as it was. My girls were asking why the road was so rough, as they tried drinking their drinks. Quote "it's not this rough in the car".

Sub 60 with a serious tail wind. We've achieved 35mpg a few times but tend to average around 30-32mpg.

Ringstead is supposed to be a little secret for us Dorset Folks!
We love it - loads of beach BBQ's over the summer
If you like roughing it a little - then there is a great place to camp at Owermoinge - Mills Nurseries - or we call it Flower Farm. Very Basic - but camping amongst all the blooms and wild birds is great.
