2013 Calendar

I know it's a bit early but was wondering if anyone out here would like a BraziBay calendar for next year.

I've put a Poll up with a simple Yes No to get an idea of the numbers we should need. I would think it will cost around £10 but maybe cheaper the more we get.

Once I get an idea of the numbers I will see if it's worth doing and then start asking for photos.

Yes - Scooby would like one and we can provide a picture or twelve if required

Definitely up for this - I've got one or two (hundred) photos I could sift through

What a great idea. Another Christmas present sorted.

Pleased to have the first calendar. Would be happy to buy a second.

At least 35 copies should be a doddle if you can promise that the format will features shots from the 2012 Kombi Sleepover Rainbow. There were more than 35 vans in the wide-angle photos there.

But that wont reflect a) the season or b) BraziBay life necessarily .... it's not just about the Kombis.

There were 28 Kombis in the wide angle shots, 29 in the 'v' formation when Daisy joined in.

Points taken Tim, but surely the 'Rainbow' would make an excellent cover picture and would allow lots to feel they were part of the calendar.

Absolutely osg - I'm sure the Rainbow will feature, but for their money, I'd like people to get a calendar that covers all aspects of BraziBay life throughout the year. That can include anything from club get togethers and holidays through to trips to the dump!

So I make that 21 'yes pleases' so far adding in those who want 2. That's not going to be enough to make it worthwhile doing folks. Anyone else?

Having featured in the calendar (this month's page) I wouldn't be submitting a photo for next time around.
Hope that lots of different BraziBays will fill the second edition.

Definitely like another calendar for next year - I have a few nice pics of olive from our trip to Tuscany earlier this year which may make the grade. I already voted but didn't comment so this is not an addition to the numbers required sorry - Bileos

Not enough people wanting this to make it viable I'm afraid.

I guess a lot of you, like me, use an online calendar.

Shame. Like most people I don't use a 'paper' calendar for anything other than to hang up at work and look at the pictures!

I'll give it till the end of next week and see if we get anymore interest.

Tim. Have you thought of asking a company to sponsor it with an advert? If we need 35 and already have over 20, I can't imagine the cost to be too excessive.

Just a thought but maybe a Trader coming to Kombi Sleepover might be interested.

There may still be some uncertainty about what is on offer here and what the format would be.

Last year when some photos were submitted, other members were stimulated to join in. There was some generated enthusiasm as the pool of entries built up.
Is it worthwhile asking for and displaying some pictures now?

Last year also, there was some discussion about having several pictures on each months page.
Could you promise a format where selected pictures will have pride of place but everyone in the first 35 would be promised inclusion if they wished to send an entry?

In a way having the various pictures to hang on the wall and to change each month comes ahead of the fact that it is a calendar.

The cost isn't really the issue Abs. It's the take-up. Last year we struggled to sell the 25 that were ordered. Having a sponsor won't encourage folks to buy the calendar and if I approach a sponsor, and they ask me how many could we expect to sell, based on last year's figure, I doubt 25 would encourage them to chip in.
