We went for the rio for the same reasons. Yes you are certainly snug, but that helps on those chilly nights. Think of it as syncronised sleeping, when one person faces left, you all do.

Hi Helen - I would suggest you try both models out and lay on the bed. Anytime your passing by Bristol way pop in and your welcome to try it here at Danbury. We open Mon-Fri 9-5 and every other Saturday by appointment. Or maybe if you go to an event or show that people on this site go to they may let you try theirs out? I prefer the Diamond model as its a 5 seater instead of a 4 seater like the Rio but both work really well and its just personal choice at the end of the day! All the best.
