My how time flies are we really in our 13th year already!
Welcome to BeachBuggin’, the south’s premier VW, Classic and Custom Car show taking place on Sunday 11 August 2013.
Entrance fee is £10.00 per vehicle to display your vehicle in the concourse show n shine arena or in the public display arenas. Entrance fee for pre-booked Club displays is £5.00 per vehicle. All entrants will receive a 2013 show sticker and the first 1,000 cars will receive a free goody bag! Beach Buggies get in free! And the show is free to walk on visitors.
BeachBuggin’ is the ultimate VW show by the beach due to our amazing location on Southsea Common in the heart of the seafront and we always supported by plenty of enthusiasts, clubs, traders and general public. The show is a fantastic celebration of all things VW for the whole family to enjoy!
Club Displays We love the club displays and the efforts you guys go to keep the VW flag flying all year round because of that entrance fee for you is only £5.00 per vehicle! so get those pitches signed up.
Sponsorship As a ‘not 4 profit’ show run by volunteers we welcome all support given to us. Three quarters of our profits goes to charity, with the remaining funds used to bring you next year’s show. All organisation and running of the show is done on a voluntary basis. There are many ways in which you can become involved from being a Main Sponsor through to sponsoring one of our show n shine trophies – large or small your contribution really does make the difference.
Nominated Charities Last year BeachBuggin’ raised over £8,000 for our 2 wonderful charities – Breast Cancer Campaign and Ickle Pickles, so a massive thank you to all the show visitors, sponsors and supporters in 2012. Over the past 13 years we have raised over £58k for local good causes and charities ! Concourse Show n Shine Competition Once again an amazing display last year - we have doubled the space each year to get you all in and it still wasn’t enough with 150 entries! We can’t wait to see this year’s line up. For more details of classes and entry forms – check out the website. Once you’ve paid your entrance fee, entry to the show n shine is free!!
Cars 4 Sale A great place to advertise your vehicles or find that dream VW! Once you’ve paid your entrance fee, you can display your vehicle for sale in this area for free!! Traders Always well supported by a wide range of traders offering a variety of goods from parts through to t-shirts there’s something for everyone to browse and buy. This is a well-attended show, with the added bonus of having a very large walk on attendance from the general public as we’re right on the seafront. Please note all trade plots must be booked and paid for by 31.07.13. No bookings or payment can be taken on the day.
Swapmeet Clear our your garage, spare room, loft or where ever you’re storing those ‘might come in handy’ bits and pieces and get yourself to the show. Only £10.00 for a 3m by 4m pitch, just turn-up on the day with some form of photo address ID (driving licence).

I'll probably be going, as it's not too far from me. If we have enough people that want to go I don't mind organising it.
All those that want to be on the club display can you say so here, so I can get an idea of the numbers. Or would you rather park on the field with everyone else?

We'll more than likely go to this but would prefer to park up on the field as per last year.

I think I will go with the kids. They will love the location weather permitting and just park with the rest as my van is way too messy with kids stuff to display to anyone !

This show is on Sunday.
A liitle bird tells me they'll be a few Kombi's in Portsmouth that day!
If you've not been before its a great little show and is normally nice and sunny with the bonus of being by the sea. We will do as last year and set ourselves up in the spacious car park. It'll be good to see you if your coming.
