Well the weather was so fantastic this weekend it seemed criminal not to take advantage and head out onto the open road. Didn't see any need to venture out of God's Own County so headed East towards the foothills of the North York Moors for two nights on a farm site in the shadow of Byland Abbey.

Nice - it's a long time since I stood on the White Horse - my sister and b-i-l have a farm not too far away in Cowesby. I've been gliding a couple of times from Sutton Bank Gliding Club.
The weather this weekend was ace - I'll bet there were lots of vans on the roads up and down the UK.

Nice pics Geoff and I bet you're enjoying the new suspension set up too!
Certainly am Tim - there's a bit more clearance now and I don't need to be as paranoid about road undulations

Nice photo of the White Horse, Geoff. I used to look at it every week - I was working below in Kilburn at some point. Lovely area but have you ever driven there in snow?? Not recommended.
