It happened to me again yesterday, stalled on a hill junction after 5 mins running from cold (trying to be too clever!) . Wouldn't restart, waited 10 mins but still would not start.
Moved to plan B, removed fuel pump fuse (second one up on left of underdash fusebox,20A), turned her over , put fuse back in and restarted straight away.
