| Hi, we are soon to be the proud new owners of a 2007 green brazilian bay!! Very excited  Thanks to those that have already offered help & advice, it's been so useful. We met a few of you at the Halloween do but look forward to getting to know more of you in the future. | So we've picked her up & it was a lovely sunny day but a chilly drive home. Tomorrow will be spent giving her a good clean. ..any tips welcome & working out how the heater works! My 7 yr old son didn't know we'd brought her & literally nearly exploded with excitement when we told him she was ours!

| Great news and I bet a fab drive.
Sadly the front heater runs off the water from the engine and so won't get hot until the engine has run for a bit. Do you have a back independent heater as well? If yes, it runs off petrol from the main tank and needs a minimum of about a quarter of a tank (though I've had mine running when the needle was on the red). Simple turn the control knob to start, though again takes a few mins to get up to speed, but less than the front one. | |

| There should be a switch with a picture of a fan on it near the glovebox. Turn one click for fast fan speed and two clicks for super fast. Water is always flowing through the heater as the pump comes on with the ignition. If your still not getting warm air the fuse for the pump may have gone.
If you turn the ignition on, you should be able to hear the pump come on. ________________________________________________________________________________ Ginger man without a ginger van | |
