It's incredible, seems relentless. I cannot wait for the better weather to come.   

It's a very high tide today but no wind so it's not as bad

Hi yes all ok for now , on flood alert for later on when everybody else's water arrives !!!! Which is fairly standard. Our village is ok .

Living on a hill is having it's advatage.

I never get on a boat that doesn't have a buffet!

Looks like I will have to look for an alternative too, just seen my mate Mark who owns the Fat Fowl in the town centre on the BBC1 national news, flooded twice over the last week.

Luckily I live on top of a hill, but we are surrounded by rivers, which all flood meaning I can't get home.

Been in Bristol for last two weeks and was planning on going home tomorrow, may be an interesting journey, just started chucking it down again.

Good point - me neither. Which RCCL ship is that? I've been on Voyager and Majesty. Fine ships.

I think my wife and I are involved in 2 very nerdy lifestyle hobbies -Cruising and VW buses- both appear to be quite expensive !

Dizzy, I bet all those who bought in the new apartment block by the river there aren't very happy. I remember looking at those as they were going up and thinking "risky".

Agreed, when it was the old Avon rubber factory it probably didn't matter much, but it always flooded.

To be honest, I have seen it worse, but you would think they would avoid building homes where they know it floods regularly.

There are others a lot more worse off, I really feel for those on the Somerset levels, and in other parts of the country.

....as you say the weather is dreadful .luckily we live in area safe from flooding in Luton. There are a lot less fortunate people out there -roll on the summer so the less fortunate get a rest bite from the weather.

Bizarrely though I noticed daffodils appearing on my way to work this morning at 6am. Spring must be on its way.

Agree with you Tim - the crocus are out in Leicester as are the snowdrops. Summer in March ??

Just got back from dropping daughter off in West Pennard - not too bad there, but I used to live on the levels, near Wedmore, so glad we moved to the Devon hills! Those poor people.   

The crew is all okay down ere haaa haaaarr ! It's the poor lubbers over the hill that's getting more than their fare share. Kaz Wedmore is okay just a couple of puddles. Roll on Summer me hardies    

Funnily enough it's fine up north. Still at least the Govt are getting involved now that the Thames has risen a bit.
